About me

Salam to all,

                 I'm just a mother of two wonderful children (most of the time) who has great passion for cooking. I always tell my friends i wouldn't mind cooking all day if I had to, as long as I don't clean the dishes, LOL. My first cooked meal was spaghetti & meatballs when i was 9 and my experiments in the kitchen were endless ever since. I love trying all different kinds of foods and cultures. I LOVE SWEETS, and I love pizza.
              
                 I also love to craft, sew, scrapbook, paint, refinish furniture, decorate cakes and cupcakes, and go to garage sales and thrift stores. I love to use coupons to buy dirt cheap items (if not free ^_^) and i love deal hunting..  I sell on ebay part-time (sometimes If I'm in the mood) and I'm a Cityville addict. my favorite Games are Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart on on Wii. My favorite store is Kohls. (i just felt the need to say that lol)

                 I was born in Newark , NJ and lived in Gaza, Palestine for 13 yrs. Learned most of my cooking from my grandmother and mom. Then i got married and came back to the states. I learned a lot from my Mother in law as well.
                 I've always believed that we don't own the knowledge we have and we must pass it on for everyone to benefit.. So I was hoping that I could be helpful in some sort of way to anyone out there who reads my blog.
